Based on your studies, reading, professional discussions and classroom practice you are required to present a reflective portfolio charting your progress during the course.

This assignment will have three aspects

1 Identify a specific area of your professional practice which you want to develop or that has been highlighted as an area for improvement. E.g. meeting learners needs, pace of lessons, addressing special needs, lesson openings.
Using relevant literature and evidence from your practice show how you have deepened your understanding of this aspect of teaching and the actions you have taken to address it. (60%)
2. using weekly on line collaborative discussion boards reflect and share your good practice in a number of teaching areas. Present a reflective summary of your learning for these discussions (15%)
3. Drawing on lesson observations, college mentor feedback and peer and self reflections draw up an action plan to take your teaching forward into the coming year. (25%)
