Entrepreneurial Strategy

For the Strategy Project you have to select one existing operating entrepreneurial SME, stating in which industry this company is working.

You are expected to conduct business research that includes market analysis and an environmental analysis of a selected industry, analysis of the competitive forces in this industry, and analysis of the main competitors that are currently active in the selected geographic area (these points relate to the external environmental analysis). Furthermore, you have to focus on a particular entrepreneurial SME in the selected industry, to evaluate its strategic capabilities (internal environmental analysis) and pursued strategies, and to recommend strategic directions for its growth and development. Finally, you have to provide recommendations how these strategic directions can be implemented.

Everything included in the project counts towards the 4,000 words word count. This includes tables, graphs, figures among others. Table of contents, List of tables, List of figures, references, and appendices are the only sections excluded from the word count. For what concern appendices, the project should be able to be read without them. As such, appendices, when included, will not count towards the final mark.
