choose one of the articles you found and write a critique using the headings and information from the Student Learning Centre Critiquing Research Articles Guide.

1) Search for one (1) article which outlines the benefits of titrated oxygen therapy

2) Search for one (1) article which outlines the disadvantage of titrate oxygen therapy

Read the articles you have found and bring them to the tutorial in WEEK 7 and be prepared to critique the evidence and the research.

In small groups we will be discussing what evidence is and the concept of evidence-based practice.

We will be looking at the different sides of the argument for and against the use of titrated oxygen and then consider if you were in a managerial position or contributing to the development of a clinical practice guideline how would you put that evidence into practice.

We will then discuss in larger groups what you found in the research and how you went about generating the clinical practice guidelines.
