Bullying in the K-3 Classroom
Part I
K-3 field experience, discuss the topic of bullying with your classroom teacher. Investigate how the classroom teacher deals with this issue. Does the school or district have any specific programs in place to deal with bullying? During your observations, watch for the occurrence of bullying and note your classroom teacher’s strategies for handling this issue.
Using the data you collected in your field experience, write a creative short story of 250-500-words about a child who is being bullied.
Part II
In another 250-500-words discuss how an early childhood educator responds appropriately. Ensure that the teacher in your story implements effective strategies to deal with the situation.
Use at least three scholarly sources in your paper.
