Psychology person’s personal characteristics

Psychology person’s personal characteristics

Project description
you need to create two helping scenarios.

In both vignettes, you need to invent a situation where someone needs help. Be sure to describe:
1. The person’s personal characteristics.
2. The type of help they need and how others know they need help.
3. The location where the vignette takes place.
4. The number of people present and what type of relationship they may or may not have to the victim.
5. Any other characteristics relevant to your story.
VERY IMPORTANT: TIE YOUR EXAMPLE INTO THE THEORIES OF HELPING AND ALTRUISM . YOU MUST DEFINE THE THEORIES THAT YOU APPLY/USE. THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ASSIGNMENT WILL BE EXPLAINED BY THE READINGS (social exchange, reciprocity, evolutionary factors, rewards and costs, social norms, etc).

For the first vignette, design a situation where a person is likely to receive the help they need. Use the theories in the book to explain why they are likely to receive help and from whom.

For the second, design a situation where the person is NOT likely to receive help. Use the theories in the book to explain why they are not likely to receive help.
You must use, apply and DEFINE the theories of helping and altruism to your scenarios. As always, you can also consult outside sources. How do the theories explain why one victim is likely to get help but the other is not?
