Find two different primetime television shows of 30 minutes to an hour each with Asian American characters. Document the programs you watch, what

types of shows they are (comedy, drama, etc.), the number of Asian American characters you see within and what types of roles they play. Provide some

commentary on how easy or difficult it is to find programs featuring Asian Americans, and why this is so. In addition, describe how this ethnic group

is portrayed in the programs you watched and what you think about these portrayals. Are they accurate? Are they stereotypical? Why? Lastly, based

upon your personal experience and insights, why do you think Asian Americans are portrayed the way they are in the media in general? Is this a good

thing or a bad thing?
