The role of organaziations in economic development

It is sometimes argued that international organizations have different competitive advantages, that all have things that they do well and other things for which they are not well suited. Choose three organizations (preferably of different typologies) from those that were presented in class.
Utilizing specific aspects of economic theory, examine how these organizations, in light of their particular mandates and activities, can best foster economic development?
