What this piece of work should be based on is the document titled STM6A1 which shows the structure the report should have, and it should be about the “fake” company The Wooden Furniture Store which is based on Ikea(make sure to mention that). Make sure to include a TROPICS test as well as at least one more theory/framework from the pp presentation submitted.

In the full “consultancy report” (which will be the basis for your own consultancy role-play)

you might wish to consider a structure such as the one briefly outlined below:

i. Start by identifying the consultancy group you represent (50-100 words).

ii. Provide a brief opening paragraph explaining when and why you were contacted

by this specific company to provide your bid on how to enhance the company’s

sustainability (200-250 words).

iii. Identify the main issues that are making the company lag behind in terms of

sustainability (by referring to your colleague’s business case and what may be in

between the lines, as well as recurrent issues in the sector) (300 words).

iv. Prioritize the issues with a brief explanation for this specific order (250 words).

v. Focus on the main and most urgent issue as previously identified: describe it fully,

then present a step-by-step analysis with specific recommendations (ideally

between three to five recommendations) on how to tackle it. Make sure you refer

to models/frameworks, diagrams and tools to fully explain how the situation may

be managed and how the change will be achieved. Consider having a “plan B” for

at least one of the recommendations. (700-900 words)

vi. Briefly address the second (and third) issues identified, an overview of your

change plan and suggest a good time to start these changes. (200-250 words)

vii. Provide a fairly detailed timeline (e.g. using a Gantt chart) and a fictional budget

for the overall changes suggested.

viii. Bibliography in Harvard style (including sound academic references, the key

readings and also the web pages of companies you researched into for comparison and background information on change management in the specific

sector/industry the company under scrutiny is from).
