Review the Journey of Race and Culture document posted under Course Documents of Blackboard (it should be provided in Course Pak as well). Write a brief paragraph for

each of the following issues:
1.Discuss where you are in this journey. Assume you are somewhere to the left of the page, not the right of the page. Many students think that just because they

believe they value diversity they are on the right side of the page, and thus students think they are at the point of ?diversity and community valued? when they are

more to the left of the page. Instead, consider what you actually do and feel along the continuum and discuss where you think you are in the journey.
2.Discuss how this journey is relevant to your academic growth and your experience as a college student.
3.Discuss what role do you think an academic institution should have in fostering this journey.
