1.) Discuss one example of stereotype from each film, as we have learned about them through this weeks reading. Explain why these examples can be considered stereotype and describe the mythological frameworks of each stereotype. Cite the articles.
2.) Cite an example from popular media that is framed by the article: The Imperial Imaginary: The Western Paradigm.
Explicitly describe and cite your example (this is not found in either film), and explicitly describe how your example if framed in the article above. Provide critical analysis.
3.) Choose one example of popular myth and/or image appropriation from any article in week 4, and use it as the basis for deep critical analysis of either of this weeks (week 4) films. Explicitly describe the written example, deconstruct it’s meaning, and describe how the written example you choose supports your analysis of the film. Link your examples to each other through your analysis.

This is more than stating what the article says, or describing a scene in the film; you are expected to provide insight into both the written passage(s) and the film by applying their meaning to each other.
