then explain what the indicators indicate. That is, what do they measure, what do they mean?
3. Examine the rate of growth (absolute and per capita) for your 2 countries (a) since the 1960s and/or (b) since 2000, and then
tell me
a. Are they upper, upper-middle, lower-middle or lower income countries? (see the Jeffery Sachs article)
b. Are they upwardly or downwardly mobile?
c. Are they catching up to the upper income countries or falling behind? Convergence? Or divergence?
