The questions to be answered are about organizational culture and globalization, two very important concepts in today’s business and organizational environment. Both
of these are related because differences in culture become even more apparent as globalization increases. Culture in an organization is much like an individual
habit…it’s an unconscious pattern of behavior. When I have a habit, I do that habitual behavior without thinking even when it’s something as simple as brushing my
teeth or as complex as driving my car; I do both pretty much on automatic pilot unless something gets my attention and causes me to think about what I’m doing. As
we’re exposed to other cultures (both organization and country), it’s much easier to see others’ “unconscious patterns of behavior” because they are different than our
own. ??
