9. Nuclear Medicine: Brain Scintigraphy
This paper will compare the use of radiopharmaceutical used in brain death imaging in nuclear medicine. The focus is on radiopharmaceutical that cross the blood brain barrier such as Tc-99m HMPAO and Tc-99m EDC vs. Tc-99m DTPA and Tc-99m Pertechnetate. How they are different in terms of physiology and the effect of it on images and how they are interpreted (i.e. false positive and false negative studies)
– I attached some of the articles on the topic\
– This should be constructed as a research scientific article; with an abstract, introduction, methods, results and conclusion
– Column form format with pictures, graphs and tables to support information
