Literature Discussion – Module 3
The Literature Discussion for Module 3 will be a Blackboard Collaborate session in which you will log onto Blackboard Collaborate to discuss the topic presented below with your group. You will be required to discuss and debate the literature that reflects the content of the topic using scholarly sources. These Collaborate sessions are a means to engage in scholarly debate.
TOPIC: Ethics of Change: Managing the Politics of Change
Ethics play an important role in the change process, yet many leaders are challenged by the ever-increasing balancing act of considering the interests of all the stakeholders. In Part III (p. 220) of the Kezar text, she discusses the case of Ken and his leadership role in his proposal of a branch campus in Saudi Arabia and his interest in creating more family-friendly policies. Re-read the description in Chapter 7 of Ken, as well as the analysis of the actions taken on pg. 220. In the Literature Discussion be prepared to discuss the 6 touchstone points for change agents to consider in the Summary section on pg. 223. You will need to cite outside sources for your discussion.
