In lieu of class time, students are required to attend Leadership Forum events (Speaker
Series) and submit Reflective essays, 1-2 pages in length. Reflective essays are “thought
pieces,” requiring your engagement in the materials presented at each Leadership Forum event.
These are not research papers – no documentation or citations are necessary. Use the
following five questions as an outline for your essays. You can opt for all 5 questions or select
few of them based on your essay topic. Type N/A for those question that you have not covered
in your essay.

3. If challenges or opportunities were identified, what did you think of the solutions?
Were there alternatives that came to mind?
4. What leadership principle(s) was communicated or demonstrated by the speaker?
