*select one of the items that is on the agenda – a piece of legislation on a topical issue – and follow it. See what items the legislature thinks are important and how they choose to address it.
*should be able to determine whether or not it is likely that the law will in fact pass.
*The final product should be at least 1000 words long, be objective, contain at least three outside references, and follow standard writing convention like MLA. And of course, its best that the work be grammatically solid and well written.
