Classification of Digital Electronics

Digital electronics have many sub parts, like gates, encoders, decoders etc.
Gates -They are actually blockades through which the signals pass, it may or may not allow a signal to pass through. A huge function can be formed the Basic gates like the AND Gate, OR Gate, NOT Gate, XNOR Gate, XOR Gate, NAND Gate, NOR Gate, NAND Gate etc. We even have multiple signal gates..
Encoders -It converts the digital signals to binary numbers of 1’s and 0’s using the Gate functions.
Decoders – Converts the Binary signals to Digital signals using the Gate Functions.
