Venture capital funds are those investment funds which manage the money of investors who seeks to invest in private small and medium, early emerging firms or startups which have a high growth potential. Venture capital firms invest in these startups in exchange for some equity stake. They takes this risk in the hope to get high returns. These investments are characterized as high risk/high return investments.
