Select two types of air pollutants and two types of water pollutants.

Prepare a 700- to 1,050-word paper in which you analyze your selected pollutants and their affect on the environment. In your analysis, be sure to include the following items:

o Indicate whether the selected air pollutants are considered primary or secondary pollutants. Be sure to explain why they are considered to be primary or secondary, and discuss the sources of these pollutants.

o Describe how the selected air pollutants affect the different layers in the atmosphere. In looking at this interaction, how do greenhouse gases influence the climate of the Earth? Discuss how these air pollutants and greenhouse gases affect human, plant, and animal life.

o Examine the selected water pollutants. Discuss the sources of these pollutants, and indicate the impact of these pollutants on water resources and aquatic life.
