Paper instructions:
The research paper is your opportunity to put the concepts of this course to work and pursue your interest. Select a dance, an aspect of a choreographer’s work, a special historical issue, or any dance topic, which interests you. Define your research question narrowly so you can focus your study and cover your topic with depth.

Before you finalize your plans, make sure there are good sources available: books, magazines, programs, interviews, and lectures. Your research must include viewing dancing: an event, performance, demonstration, rehearsal, class or videotape.

Plus a bibliography, pay attention to literary form. The paper should consist of information and ideas you have gathered and distilled, as well as our original thought and responses. Your report must also include something visual, which you collect or create. Int the bibliography list all sources including interview (Date, place, short biography of person interviewed).
