Accounting: preparing spreadsheets. Correction of Assignments.

This assignment is based on making corrections to two already completed assignments. Assignment 4: Phionias mini case and Assignment 5 : Bultuff mini case. I will upload the corresponding material. Original instructions from textbook and the completed excel spreadsheets that need corrections.

Comments for corrections:
Assignment 4 : Phionias mini case

This is corrections to spreadsheet, multiplying, adding, and subtracting. Row 16 should have the same quantities as Row 3

Row 17 should be 10% of the following months production

Row 18 is then the total of Rows 16 & 17

Row 19 should be 10% of that months production

Row 20 is then Row 18 minus Row 19

E53 should not be multiplied by E5, but by E20, and then copy to the right.

I cannot tell what Variable Costs includes.

Row 51 is still incorrect. While they are only making 6 cases a day, they do have prep and clean-up, for another 2 hours a day. So that will give you the daily cost.

How many cases are they making a day, total? Divide that into the monthly required production, and that will tell you how many DAYS of production per month. THAT is the figure you multiply by the daily cost.

Let’s see what these new numbers will look like.

Assignment 5 : Bultuff mini case

The aluminum and labor costs are INCLUDED in the variable cost, so when adding the total costs up, either include the Variable Cost only, or the Aluminum & Labor, but not both.
