Hypothesis is made from class data that I will upload.
Introduction: Approximately 1 page
– State the hypothesis
– Relate the hypothesis to specific theories discussed in class
Methods: Approximately 1 page
– Indicate the number of participants and any relevant demographic variables
– Indicate the procedure used, so that anyone who is reading would be able to understand what happened to each participant
Results: Length will vary depending on the number of questions or the type of data. In general, for each question asked there will be one or two sentences to indicate the results.
– You may want to refer to a graph or table in your results section. The graph or table should be in an appendix (see below).
Discussion: Approximately 1 page
– Indicate whether the results support the hypothesis.
– If the results do support the hypothesis, indicate what you would do next in order to add more to our understanding of this topic.
– If the results do not support the hypothesis, indicate whether something might have gone wrong with the existing study (if that is relevant) and also describe how the hypothesis should be revised or further tested.
– Consider suggesting a new study using different methods
– Indicate what information would be most useful to fully answer any remaining questions
References
– At least two journal articles or books related to the hypothesis should be cited
Appendixes
– Survey questions
– Graphs or tables of results, including figure captions.
