The purpose of this assignment is to develop the skills to write a searchable question using the PICOT format and sketch out the EBP project plan. This assignment will become the basis for your synthesis paper and ultimately your evidence-based practice project; therefore, the PICOT question should be clinically relevant and answerable. Students must choose a topic from the approved list, and submit the form found on page 3 of these instructions. This assignment requires submission of a draft for formative feedback, after which you will submit your final proposal with any suggested revisions. Please note this assignment is worth 25% of your final grade. It is necessary to annotate at least 3 peer reviewed research-based references for this paper. You may NOT use systematic reviews. You must search for randomized controlled trials, and only those that are original, primary sources.
