Do you agree with this portrayal of religion? In other words, do you agree that religion is often a divisive force in the political sphere? Why or why not?

2. Brubaker suggests that religion has become an increasingly private and subjective experience (p. 7), and that this has lead to increased religious pluralism. What, if any, impact do you expect the re-‘publicizing’ of religion have on acceptance of religious pluralism?
