Annotated bibliography
Compile a bibliography (about 1,200 words) of 12 particularly useful academic sources that approach the topic from different angles, providing different sorts of information and/or different sorts of interpretation.
Explore and research an aspect of eBusiness (online business) and produce an annotated bibliography.
This assessment should be non-plagiarism. My tutor also will check the references make sure they are good academic articles.
Give a brief account of the information each provides; why each source is worth including; how the various sources relate to each other and information was not provided by your sources that you think would be desirable for a better understanding of the topic. Only use academically credible sources, and unless you are doing a historical topic, use only sources published since 2000. In general I would like you to include at least 2 books, and 4 journal articles, but this can vary if you use reference sources

About Annotated Bibliographies
You may choose any topic related to eBusiness but the items in your bibliography should all reflect the topic you have chosen. You can limit the topic by a specific area, for example online banking security issues or NFC (near field communications) or you may choose the broader subject content as it is listed, such as our weekly topics e.g. being digital, navigating the web, security, privacy, IP, governance and ethics, digital design, Business models on the web, digital markets and so on….
For a consistent approach your annotated bibliographies should be organised by the TYPE of material not by subject (as is common). Each annotation should be between 100-150 words and assess the usefulness and quality of the item and its weaknesses and strengths.
NOTE: In a bibliography citation of the works is VERY important so you will need to get the APA citations correct for this assignment.
The items in your bibliography should be relevant to the topic area you have chosen.
As a guide your list should include a mix of the following:
– journal or periodical articles. (Note this means articles not journal/periodical titles. There should be no more than 1 item from the same journal/periodical. These may come from a database or be located through search engines such as Google Scholar)
– books (or parts of books)
– Internet items (These should be located through search engines and directories, not databases)
– items from reference sources (optional – you may use books or journal articles instead)
Note* Reference sources can provide general background information (facts, definitions, dates, details), assistance in focusing your topic, quick access to important factual and statistical information, and references to other sources of information. It is therefore a good place to begin your research. Reference materials include almanacs, handbooks, encyclopedias, and dictionaries. Also see – what is a reference source?
– items of your own choice ( These can include items that you particularly like, or extra material you found in any of the above categories, or collections such as photographs or multimedia that do not fit in the above categories)
*Please note: Your annotated bibliography should provide a good mix of sources (as above). What I do not want is a bibliography made up of just references to web pages.
