Purpose of this assignment:

Scenario or context:
You are a consultant employed by a large Business and Management Consultancy. Your organisation has recently been contacted by a large retail chain to undertake a feasibility analysis for

them to open up a branch of their business close to the university campus where you studied on the IDP course.

Your analysis must be based on primary and secondary research and your recommendations must be justified based on your research findings.

You have to present your findings and recommendations to the client in a presentation that you will be leading in exactly two months from the date that your organisation has been

commissioned with this task. Your presentation must be 15 minutes in length and include a number of mandatory sections.(Task 1)

Along with your presentation you must prepare a report containing all your findings and recommendations as indicated in your presentation.(Task 2)

Design your questionnaire
Your questionnaire must have an introduction as to who you are and what the business is
Your questionnaire must have 12 to 15 questions
Your questions must have closed questions – usually requires yes or no answers or people may pick from a range of options
Your questions must have open questions- which allow the person answering to give an opinion which will allow him or her to respond at length

•    Explain each one giving examples for the results you have collected.  Explain what the results mean and what you would advise the client to do.

•    You must choose another 6 questions ( you cannot choose the questions you have analysed from before)
•    You now need to produce 5 graphs and this may be in the format of bar charts, pie charts
•    Explain each graph with examples and make valid conclusions

•    You need to produce 1 graph as a linear trend line
•    Explain the trend graph and make valid conclusions

LO4 3.4 Produce a formal report M3 D3
•    Your report must be presented in a professional manner
•    Must have a front cover with your name and the business name
•    Your report must have a contents page
•    Page numbers and your name in the footer
•    Each section of the report is clear to read and no spelling errors and grammer errors
•    Your tables and graphs are clear to read
•    Include appendix if needed
•    References must be included the Harvard system
