It is without question that humans are a distinctive species. In response to the claim how much of this distinction is the result of biology, can it solely be down to biology. Whether this is distinctive from animals or themselves. Each individual person has a personality that differs from another and on a greater scale, as a species, is although similar to some very different from others. Darwins work shows furthermore the biological distinctiveness of humans. That some human behaviours such as that of sneezing were innate reflexes rather than learned behaviours that are developed throughout a humans lifetime (Challenging Psychological Issues, pg 50).
