Almost since one cam remember, it has been a constant, daily battle to get authority in society to stand up and enter the debate, whilst having somewhat unbiased attitudes to the predicament that is women facing imprisonment in Britain; often for very trivial crimes. This piece of work will aim to investigate whether women are being failed by the very system that matters most; does the current policy help or hinder women?
