According to Montgomery (2014) Children in different parts of the world lead very different lives, partly because of variations in cultural beliefs about childhood. Anthropologists have been studying how international childhoods vary depending on their culture, they have shown that there is no agreement on a single, correct way to raise children and no set of universal ideas about the nature of children. (Montgomery, (2014), p212.). This essay will be looking at the educational effects of social and culture differences in childhood, the race and ethnicity of different cultures and how many different places view childhood and what a Child is and the impact this has on children themselves.
