This essay will aim to demonstrate the use of psychosocial interventions and their ability to allow for holism and a more patient centred approach to care planning and nursing as a whole. To allow for this, the author has chosen a case study that will be used to illustrate the process of care planning with psychosocial interventions incorporated.
The environment in which the care was delivered consisted of an acute adult mental health ward which held eighteen beds.
