Introduction

Every day, people face different types of risks. Whether it is short term risks such as accidents, or long term risks such as health issues. Experts in the scientific community look in to these risks to see what danger they could possibly hold to the public. How this information on risks is then passed from the experts on to the public?  How do the people then perceive the knowledge of risks that is given from experts, do they take notice? Also how is the information understood by the public?
