eTMA 01 Why can it be difficult to decide whether or not a person is a carer, and does it matter? Base your answer on the case of someone you know.

I feel that it is important to know who is and isnt a carer because people do need help whether they realise it or not. If you are not realised as a carer it can be a  stressful  time and cause financial hardship. Once recognised then there is a lot of help and support out there for you, if you try to care for some-one without any support network things generally only get harder and harder the older or more poorly the person you are caring for becomes.

This is particularly close to me because my mum had to care for my gran who lived with us for a number of years. Now Ill introduce my family, theres  my gran, my mum ( my grans carer ), my dad ( who is my mums rock ), my brother whom we dont see very often and myself.
