I have chosen this incident as I spent a few days looking after this patient under direct supervision of my mentor. To maintain confidentiality and to protect the identity of the patient I will name him Albert, this is in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct (The Code, 2008). The reflective model I have chosen to use is Gibbs (1988), as this is a very simple model to use but very effective, and a model that is familiar to me.
