Does the Green Party have a future in British Politics?

Green Parties have enjoyed varying success across Europe in recent years. The Green Parties in Germany and France for instance have been involved in governing coalitions at national level. The Parliament of the European Union has, as its fourth largest grouping, The Greens/European Free Alliance consisting of widely Green and regional parties. Surprisingly the first Green Party in Western Europe has never managed representation, let alone experienced government, in its national parliament.
