The purpose of this assignment is to critically evaluate a research article found in a professional journal. It will evaluate the validity and rigour of the design, the methods used within the article and the data collection methods. Ethical considerations within the study will also be evaluated. This will be accomplished using a critiquing framework which is relevant to the research article. The framework that will be embedded into the assignment is The Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP).
