Through reading literature surrounding subjects such as human resources, total quality management and quality standards I have gained a particular interest in such issues, in particularly the Investors in People quality standard.  It is on this basis the reasons behind the motivations towards an investigation into the dimensions Investors in People, arguing amongst selected Harrogate Borough Council (HBC) leisure facilities to whether or not liP increase employee motivation.
