This essay will examine and assess three methods of psychological research starting with a method which Adorno et al utilised using scales and questionnaires to obtain data. Secondly, the focus will be on William Corsaro and his use of ethnographic research. Lastly, the essays focus will turn to the examination and assessment of experimental research carried out by Colin Cherry. Unfamiliar terminology will be defined for the reader in the main body of the essay.
Adorno et al. (1950) were eager to uncover what characteristics lay behind the events that occurred during the second world war and in particular the events relating to the Jewish population of Europe.
