In our lives we identify ourselves with our surroundings and form attachments to certain places and people. I myself see my home as a place, which I feel secure in, a place for my family, comfort and self-identity. When I go away anywhere I find myself having a longing for home things that are familiar to me and the safety it offers. Knowing that I will return makes this easier to tolerate, but there comes a time in all our lives that we cannot return home when we wish.
When there is a need to move there are many different forms that this can take. For, example in shared care many people are involved such as, home carers visiting during the day, spouses taking on some of the caring as an informal carer and then there may be a day centre, which contributes to their care….(short extract)
