There is evidence to suggest that our childhood experiences with significant people in our life may affect our development.  This study explores this and analysiss different positions and theories in order to show the perception of ourselves and how we have been affected.  The results show that although childhood experiences have an effect on us during adulthood, this is not conclusive as we also experience lifelong development and secure relationships may still be attained through personal development.
