Research the term “network topology,” specifically, bus topology, ring topology and star topology. Learn how these are similar and how they are different. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each and in which situations would one topology be preferred over another type?

Using MS Excel 2010 or MS PowerPoint 2010, create your own, unique, spreadsheet or presentation that could be used to teach your classmates about network topology. You may include as much information and elaborate as much as you would like to, however, at the very least, you must include the following information. (see attached grading rubric)

(1) Describe the bus, ring and star topology types and at least one other variation or hybrid topology.
(2) Give a scenario in which each type of topology would work better than the others.
(3) List the advantages and disadvantages of each topology
(4) Include at least one other interesting point for each topology
