Read “Afterword: CNU Expanded” by Peter Calthorpe and “Postscript: Completing the CNU Charter” by Leon Krier.

Provide a critical analysis of these two commentaries. Do your own research on the “skyscraper vs. walk-up building” debate and find 3-4 additional sources. These can be published journal articles, books, websites, or blogs (it’s best to have a mix of opinions and types of sources).

Integrate your sources with the 2 Charter pieces and summarize your main observations/conclusions in 1-2 written pages. What are the key differences and opposing points of views being presented? What points are most worth remembering? Do you think there is room for compromise, or do you think this is an intractable debate? What side do you take, and why?
