Briefly outline a story from the perspective of a victim (fictional character) in an organisation setting i.e. someone who has been overlooked for promotion.
Then retell the same story but highlight only the strengths and heroism of the main (fictional) character.
For instance, where the first story described events in which the main character was overlooked for a promotion the second story should describe how they learned from the experience and helped another colleague to avoid making some of the same mistakes.
Summarise the potential lessons learned.?

The purpose of this piece of work is to show how ‘Storytelling’ helps us to avoid the difficult question of what is the truth and allows us to present several versions or truths according to the impact we wish to make upon our audience. Helping to demonstrate how a responsible manager should be able to listen to several versions of events and treat them all as credible.
