Importance of Days Off

Your key tasks are to:
Consolidate your project-group and if need be, clarify the roles to be played by the group members’ as co-ordination, research, production and post-performance/reflections lead (a lead person is the primary individual in charge of that function while contributing to other activities with in the project). We must make sure that by Spring Term week 13/14, every group members knows what they have to do in order to significantly contribute to the project within their individual and collective roles
We will fine-tune the focus of the posters, and finalise poster titles, during our sessions [ as background reading on the broad theme of the conference, you should read this brief page on the ILO website ]. You should plan your time carefully, allowing time for research and drafting, design and printing.

Please have a look at the Sample Posters (from previous terms) on your course’s Bb Content page [and elsewhere]: the MS PowerPoint poster templates, which your group can utilise to produce draft designs are easy to use and amend
So as to better prepare yourself and your team members, please start by watching these two short video clips (on poster design and poster presentation tips, including planning)
If you need a bit of advice on how to write concisely, argumentatively and critically (for the text of your poster), please have a look at the attached documents (especially the middle link below, as a two page guide from University of Toronto on ‘Writing A Critical Review’).
