prospectus for WR327
A prospectus is a brief plan of your final technical report, and it is meant to organize your ideas. It need only be one or two paragraphs long.?Here are some ideas to add to those paragraphs:
* What is your topic or problem?
* What will you be accomplishing in this document?
* How will you solve the problem?
* What are the advantages of the solution?
* What types of objections to your solution do you anticipate?
* Who is your audience?
* Who will you be interviewing, if anyone?
If you would like to come up with an outline, that would be great, but not necessary. This exercise will help you focus on your topic and document overview, and receive feedback from fellow students.

The prospectus can be as short as one solid paragraph as long as it is “complete”–that is, as long as you clearly identify your audience, define your problem, define your solution, and explain how you will adapt your message to your reader in order to make a persuasive case. If possible, round out the remaining features of successful proposals. You likely have not done enough research yet to explore these elements fully, but take a shot if you can: In addition to defining the problem and the solution, can you: Discuss advantages of the solution? Anticipate and return objections to the solution? Discuss how to implement the solution? Justify the costs of the solution?
Now , you have done with prospectus!
Now, just follow this by using the same research and same citation
By this point in the writing process, you should have a good grip on your audience and argument as well as the evidence that you plan to use in your final report. Supporting the ideas that you present with “expert testimony” from relevant, reputable secondary sources proves that you are aware of the existing body of knowledge related to your idea. You must use at three secondary sources in your report. You must cite them; that is, refer specifically to the ideas you’re extrapolating from these sources. Qualified sources include journal articles, books, and websites. Give me a preview here.
List at least three sources and explain their relevance to your argument. That is, what ideas are you emphasizing by referring to these experts? How do these ideas fit into the larger design of your report? This also is a chance to experiment with citation format. Use the Chicago style guide or MLA guidelines, when formatting your sources.
