Portfolio: You are starting a DIY record label

Industry: Define your label and how it sits within current understandings of
the industry? What is your Unique Selling Point (USP), and what is your Point
Of Difference (POD)?

Income Streams: Discuss the income streams that will sustain your
business.

Running costs: Detail fixed and variable costs associated with the running of
your label.

Start Up: How, if applicable, will you secure start-up funding from individuals
or organisations? Who will be approached and how will your venture be
pitched? If no start-up funding is being sought, how will your label self-
finance?

Branding: How will you present your label to its intended user/customer
base?

Press and Marketing: How will you generate press interest and promote your
label and releases through print/broadcast media?

Risk and Insurance: What steps will you take to minimise and insure against
risk?

Appendix: include a press release detailing either a specific single or album
release, or other newsworthy event relating to your label.
