Curriculum and program evaluation

This Journal will focus on the concepts and ideas involved in the curriculum design process. (Lectures 6 & 7,I will upload the lectures ) Irrespective of which model might guide the process, there four critical curriculum decision points in the design process. These include decisions about:
Learning Experiences ;
Assessment or evaluation;
Content and
Objectives/Learning Outcomes.
Using the three basic elements framework above , your journal should document the concepts, theory and related issues around each of these decision points.

Use three basic elements or headings:
•Brief Description of the situation/ concept/ theory or idea that you have been introduced to.

•Reflection – Think back about the nature of the concept, theory or idea evaluating the utility or appropriateness of the concept, theory or idea to your professional practiced.

•Things to do – emerging from your reflection – ideas for action; strategies for concrete actions to shift your professional practice ( doing things differently)
