Assignment description:
Our synoptic topic is about LinkedIn Website. I will attach an article given by the adviser about LinkedIn. The Business Report should answer
the four following question along with an introduction. The questions are below.
1- Provide an in-depth critical evaluation of LinkedIn’s business strategy, and its financial performance, in relation to its changing
external and competitive environments internationally.
2- Analyse the value of LinkedIn as a marketing tool for third party organizations.
3- Critically evaluate the implications of LinkedIn’s business strategy in relation to the management of people and operational processes.
4- Based on your research, give strategic recommendations to LinkedIn in order to enhance its current and future business success.
Instruction:

1- Introduction: between 400 to 500 words should include: – The background of the company.
– Problematize (what issue they faces, what is the threat, opportunity, weakness)
– Tell the reader what coming in the assignment.
2- First Question: Provide an in-depth critical evaluation of LinkedIn’s business strategy, and its financial performance, in relation to its
changing external and competitive environments internationally.
– From 2000 to 2500 words count, the adviser mentioned it’s the bigger question.
– In the analyses of the business strategy I need you to use Porters’ five forces. And for firm performance you can use porter’s generic
strategies (I’m not sure if it is suitable here but I don’t want you to use any framework that we didn’t study) note (I will list at the end
the framework that we studied in this course and you can choose what is suitable).
– In this part, it could include these area, business strategy, external environment and human resource management and innovation.
3- Second Question: Analyse the value of LinkedIn as a marketing tool for third party organizations.

4- Third Question: Critically evaluate the implications of LinkedIn’s business strategy in relation to the management of people and
operational processes.
