For this assignment, you are required to write a short essay based on topics discussed in the scientific journal attached here. Several anatomical structures, principles and physiology of the nervous system has been discussed in class ( human anatomy & physiology: An Integrated Approach, 1st edition, chapters1 – 15 ). Needs to be a detailed research and write a short essay about it. A link for the articles are provided here. In addition, both articles are posted in the Lessons folder.

The essay needs to be a minimum of a 5-paragraphs length. Each paragraph also has to be of a medium size (7/8 sentences). Again, your essay should be based on the SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL articles provided. Of course, additional points or explanation can be included from further research of the topics. However, you should be careful of plagiarizing from any author/s including the authors of the articles. A link of tutorial is also provided for you at the end from Saint Paul university that have a simple presentation of how to avoid plagerism in reviewing articles.*
The first paragraph needs to be a summary of the article of your choice in your own words. If it is just a copy or paraphrasing of the abstract or another review paper, you will get no credit for it. Read the article carefully and write the summary in your own words. The second paragraph is where you need to explain the connection between what we have learned in class and to the topic of your interest. In third paragraph, you can further explain the state of research in the issue/s discussed, the hope and failures of similar researches, or any topic you found to be interesting mentioned in the article. In the fourth paragraph, you should put your analysis of the work based on your own knowledge. The last paragraph should be about your conclusion, including what you have learned from your research work, methods, and the article itself. If you are planning to expand your paper beyond a five-paragraph essay, you can add your own points and paragraphs or use the instructions provided here to write more details by writing a second or third paragraph per each instruction of the paragraphs.
