Assignment Question
Some major companies in the world are cooperatives. Give an example of a cooperative business and explain how workplace organisation here
differs in comparison to other companies. Using theories of workplace organisation on employee motivation and job satisfaction, discuss the
advantages and disadvantages of cooperatives.
Content
The paper should:
directly address the assignment question;
demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of the relevant concepts and
theories;
provide evidence of the additional reading (beyond the study guide and
textbook);
reflect the skills of critical analysis and the ability to clearly articulate the ideas
in writing.
Presentation
The paper should be formally structured into sections with meaningful headings (including an introduction and a conclusion), properly
formatted, written in a formal academic style and carefully proof-read. All sources used in the preparation of the paper must be fully
acknowledged and correctly and comprehensively referenced using the Harvard referencing format.
Approaching the question
Students are reminded that whilst some questions may very evidently refer to a particular unit they are all designed to span issues across
the entire module. A full answer to the question will require reflection on the issues that you have encountered throughout the module. It is
important to bear in mind that the content of your answer will depend on the argument that you wish to put forward in answer to the question
and not solely on the concepts that the question explicitly identifies.
