Creative Brief

Requirement:
• Please write a creative brief, for a brand of your choosing, to an agency of your choosing (e.g. advertising, digital, PR, design etc). Assume that this would be for a new product launch or a to announce a new initiative from the brand you are going to be talking about
• Showing that you grasp the nature of a hypothetical marketing communications challenge and that you break it down into its key components. Therefore, do some further research on the creative briefing process (SEE BELOW FOR SOME SUGGESTED READING)
• A demonstrated understanding of the core competencies of the agency you have selected and what you are asking it to do. Therefore, do some further research to better understand each type of agency’s role in bringing a brand to life. (note: you do not need to name the agency, e.g. Digitas or Ogilvy. you need to define what TYPE of agency you are selecting, e.g. an advertising agency or a digital agency)
• Demonstrating some insight is critical to a compelling creative brief. Remember, an insight is not an obvious fact or data point, it’s something that demonstrates an intimate, often surprising, knowledge of a consumer, consumer perception or consumer behavior
• Template is on the second page. You can choose any brand but EXCEPT Dove, amazon, Netflix and red lobster.
• Answer questions in the template. Total length for this assignment is 1.5 page to 2 page. (double space)
